4 members of a household, together with three kids, have been burnt alive and a girl sustained burn accidents after a hearth broke out at their home at Tissa in Himachal Pradesh’s Chamba district early Tuesday morning.
The deceased have been recognized as Rafi Mohmud (25), his daughters Zaitun (6), Jhulka (2) and son Samir (4). Mohmud’s spouse Bhura was rushed to a hospital close by and is in a vital situation.
Police mentioned they obtained an alert at 3 am at Tissa police station relating to a hearth in Churah tehsil’s Karatosh village. Preliminary probe has revealed the presence of petrol cans within the room. It’s suspected that Mohmud could have lit a bidi and tossed the matchstick apart, which probably fell on a petroleum can.
