India Thursday described the kidnapping of the Afghan ambassador’s daughter in Islamabad as a “very stunning” incident and mentioned Pakistan is “stooping to a brand new low” with its denial of the sufferer’s account.
Silsila Alikhil, the 26-year-old daughter of Afghan Ambassador Najibullah Alikhil, was kidnapped, held and assaulted by unidentified males in Islamabad final Friday.
Pakistan’s Inside Minister Sheikh Rashid has claimed that Alikhil was not kidnapped whereas suggesting a “conspiracy” linked to India.
