Microsoft says its working to appropriate a difficulty that causes some Xbox Series X controllers to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect. A repair for the defective controllers is on its method, the corporate mentioned Tuesday, including its recommendation for customers to update to the latest controller firmware.

“We’re conscious some gamers could also be experiencing disconnects with their new Xbox Wi-fi Controllers and our groups are actively engaged on an answer to be included in a future replace,” a Microsoft spokesperson advised CNET in an emailed assertion.

The difficulty, reported earlier by The Verge, can happen throughout each the blue and black variations of the controllers, in accordance with hundreds of complaints on Microsoft’s Xbox forum. The complaints started in mid-November when the console was launched and proceed at present.
